Rapid Rail attended Celsa Manufacturing to upgrade one of their 8mm 2-man lifelines to the Passenger 12mm system.
The system was installed in one day and was available for use immediately after installation.
The Passenger 12mm Lifeline System allows more people to be attached to the lifeline at once, enabling Celsa to undertake more maintenance on the cranes and rails at the same time without being restricted by only having 2 people attached at once.
The new system allows for 6 people to be attached in fall arrest and fall restraint at one time. Rapid Rail Passenger systems can allow for up to 12 people on the line depending on length of system and calculations on the structure attached.
