Rapid Rail Passenger Engineers attended Arconic Birmingham to complete the yearly Crane Rail, Gantry and Horizontal Safety Systems Inspections that take place within the annual Shutdown two week period.
The Inspections went without a hitch, although at times due planned maintenance, access was a little tricky. Working hand in hand with Arconic Managers and maintenance contractors, Rapid Rail gained permits and access to complete on time and within budget.
Inspections were completed within the allotted time and whilst there, Rapid Rail also installed a new Horizontal Safety Line above one of their furnaces as well as replacing numerous missing and sheared gantry and column bolts.
Another job well done!
